Phoenix Nirvana refers to the phoenix bathing in fire and being reborn after burning in the flames, gaining eternal life. It metaphorically represents an indomitable spirit and a strong will to fight bravely. It comes from Mr. Guo Moruo's work of the same name, "Phoenix Nirvana," and is not a folk legend from ancient China. The phoenix described in it actually refers to the immortal bird Phoenix from Western mythology.
At the same time, there is another extension and interpretation of the meaning of Phoenix Nirvana. It is often used to metaphorically describe a person who has experienced long periods of time and hardships in life, and has undergone a rebirth-like change, becoming stronger in character, independent in spirit, and living a more beautiful life.
